International DLD Research Conference 2021

We presented at the online International Developmental Language Disorder Research Conference in 2021. We spoke about the relations between language development, communicative participation and social-emotional functioning over time. We also spoke about which factors are predictive for the communicative participation of children. We found that intelligibility and grammar predicted communicative participation. Communicative participation predicted social-emotional functioning at T1 and T2, not language. Social-emotional functioning at T1 also predicted social-emotional functioning at T2.
